As everyone says the lady can charge what she wants ,if you like it pay for it ,if not move along .

Being reasonable on rates is also important on this industry, it's just good business sense especially if you're selling a product or service ,recently I was interested in a WG,called for pricing, 2k for half hour ,4k for and hour .

Can I afford that price, I sure as hell can,am I stupid enough to pay that for half/hour,hell fucking no,if her rates had been reasonable ,money would have been made ,I'm not saying be cheap ,but be reasonable.

How long is a string, could be any length

Whats a reasonable price, could be any price. She must have clients prepare to pay her rates, with you not willing to pay it, does not make it not reasonable, or do you set the standard for all.

Yirre yeesis, this still going on. The problem is yourselves (ourselves) stop complaining about kak. Stop complaining about government and economy blah blah blah. Yes it is kak, but by complaining will anything get better?

Get off your lazy arses and do something, if times are tough, then get a side hustle or a second job. Or is it just much easier to lay on your back and expect hand outs? Same goes for a normal 9 - 5 job, nothing stops you from getting in a second income. "Whats the problem" problem is some SPs (or some people in general) are lazy arses that wants to live above their means.

If someone wants to pay that go ahead, the rate is not determined by us as I've stated, but in today's economy things are getting harder, long story short everyone is feeling the pinch ,things are definitely going to get much worse ,sure I can pay it if I wanted to buy personally do I see value in it , nope I don't , I think theres better value elsewhere.

Another superb wg charges 2k an hour,it's a no brainer, one person's loss is another gain .

I think some ladies do not understand inflation when SARB increases interest rates is an attempt to curb inflation i.e goods and services prices are rising too rapidly it's an attempt to lower these prices as the middle class has less disposal income to spend.

Now if you counter this with higher salaries the inflation rate will not stabilise. So let us stabilise rates do not attempt to counter the current the higher cost of living with higher prices as all you will be doing is pricing yourself out of the market.

Even the punter that still has a high disposable income at the moment has a breaking point.

Adapt to change. You cannot have the work or survival mentality of the 1950 in 2023.
Those times having mansion houses and cars was a flex. Its not really not flex these days, its a liability and a headache. In 2023 financial freedom is a flex.

Last year Elon musk stated on an interview he doesn't even own a house. Before the excuses come in...he was born in SA too. Just saying.

In July I had R1500 in my wallet, I tried and failed with SPs in my punting area of Centurion.

I even tried and failed with SPs in JHB/Sandton.

Another SP ran a special R1k FH, the time slots were not convenient to me, so I could not book, but, I was willing to book if she ran the special again and the time suited me, instead she was rude about it WTF?

What happened here in July has happened to me plenty of times. I would withdraw the standard rate and would not find anyone to spend it on.

I am left with the impression that business is just fine.

As a punter of many years, this is the first month I have been offered discounts, anything up to 35% off standard rates.

I have never asked for a discount so it is a sign of the times.
