Nothing wrong with asking a question on a public open forum. A less intrusive way of asking the question would be..." What percentage of what you earn per month do you spent on punting"

Just my 10 cent's worth!

Asking for percentage values will give false indications.

A punter earning 800k pm and spends 5k punting budget will look like less when you compare to a punter that earns 37k pm and spends 5k on punting

Many thousands of punters earning 800kpm, shit even the president doesn't earn that much.

I'm in the wrong profession, does anyone want to hire me at 200kpm?

And also someone earning R800k but having R795k in expenses has much less to punt than the guy earning R37k a month but has no expenses and a few million in the bank.

The ones doing illegal or indiscreet stuff "earn" that.

Funnily enough a few years ago I had lots of time but my punting budget was limited - maybe 1-2 times a month.
Now suddenly I'm in a position where I do have available funds to punt more regularly but I just don't have the damn time. For me to punt I need to plan days in advance and it's 3-4 hours out of my day. Also, working from home more often has made it more difficult for me to make a break.

After living expenses, I save 130k rand per month.

I work remotely for a US company though.

My total income is R200K per month. I spend on average R2K per month on punting. It's even less these days as I don't have much free time.

You know what they say... All work and no play...

You should take a load off every now and again

For a slow month, about 5k on punting.
Busy months, 8k.
Most spent in a month, 14k (always December because of the lack of work)

Income or percentage, no comment.
