More like an inevitability, unless there is drastic shift in power with the 2024 National Elections, and hopefully not before then, but in reality if you look at the acceleration in the rate of decline, we're in groot kak.

The political machinations around De Ruyter leaving Eskom and that fucknuckle Mantashe hurling his deluded vomit into the media should signal to everyone that there are far bigger problems at the top of the rotten pile than what we may be aware of as manifest by the issues facing the utility.

From next year Stage 6 will be the new normal with bursts to Stage 8. My customers are already planning around and investing to navigate that eventuality.

In reality, power is only one of the issues facing us. Water is next and before you nay sayers pipe up and say something without having thought it through properly ... do the math ... no power = no pumping of water (including Rand Water)

We already have that water issue in the east rand.... Every time there is load shitting we lose water pressure and after about 2 hours there is none at all. I have a jojo and booster pump. Sometimes I have to run the generator to run the booster to get water. Fun times

That sucks man.

The breakdown in the availability of Water and Sanitation is a much larger problem than the outright lack of power.

People won't kill because they can't charge their phones, they might feel a bit different about things when they can't get water to drink.

That 10000 litre JoJo tank is great but what use is the booster pump without power?

As I said earlier. I plug the booster into the genny if I need to. It's a pain in the ass, but it beats not being able to shower/flush or whatever

Was listening to the radio earlier (luckily my car has a battery!!!)

They have a Christmas wish list and the lady is a retired teacher and she needs to be on oxygen

When load shedding happens it takes her days to recover

So they gifted her an inverter

So this nonsense affects people far and wide

Outgoing Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter has timeously handed over control of Eskom to his sister, Genna Ruyter.

Watching the anc trying to govern this country is like watching a monkey trying to fly a plane
