Reasonably, when you show up to an SP's place and change your mind, of course she gas lost income. It is only fair to give her some sort of compensation.
Back in June I booked a lady who's ad states she's in her 30's. I get there and find a woman closer to 50 with needle marks all over her arm. I chose to leave and she insisted I pay her at least half her fee since I already entered the room. The venue was controlled by security so I had no way out without the risk of a big scene being caused. I paid the money and I was livid. But I understood. I wasn't scammed I just changed my mind.
I do however think the OP is being fair because he was led there under false pretences.

This is where you're mistaken. A blanket rule does not apply to sectional title schemes, if she works from one. More and more scheme are placing a cap on the number of free exit codes, and once you exceed that limit, you start being charged for them.
Back to the topic. If she charged ASASH for an exit code, she's wrong because no disclosure was made prior to the booking. She's also in the wrong for baiting him with certain agreed rates and reneging on that agreement.

I have never been charged for a exit code not when visiting nor have I been charged for codes when I lived/worked in code generating complex's.
I was simply speaking based on my personal experience like I normally do.

Yes, Arhwen - understood. Like I said, it's not a blanket rule because not all body corps do it, but some use that as a access control measure and to regulate traffic. The owner gets the bill, not the visitors.

Hardly! I know a bit more about him and could only wish to be him.
The man literally goes and pisses money away on things like this to save us school fees at his expense, expensive or cheap and it not afraid to share honestly. And he doesn't even need to punt being a top 1% man. I am grateful to him.
