There is absolutely nothing that can be done to combat this. Just live with it and move on. People are going to do this all the time, especially in this type of industry. Guys get off on taking a WG for a gat. It is like a joke for them. WG's sometimes ghost punters for whatever reason too. It's going to stay this way and never change. In this industry you have to learn to deal with it and move on. Sure you can moan and vent all you want but this just makes it all the more enjoyable for idiots to do this to WG's. Punters have it a bit easier as they usually can move on to the next lady in their sights but it is still not nice when they also get ghosted. If this happens to you, vent and move on.

Spot on Nadia. It seem to ONLY happen when someone else wants to book in the exact same time slot. I've never ghosted any of my appointments. That's truly unprofessional. Why would a WG do that? So bad for business. I don't mind when the client phones to cancel, no matter how feeble the excuse is, at least he had the decency to let me know. It's those who don't let you know, that gets my blood boiling.

True. And I've seen over time some girls starting to double book just to hedge the risk of no shows. But it sucks when you're the punter stuck at the security gate of a complex with your calls not being answered.

YourChunkyFunkiness - You are right and I guess I am just frustrated with the amount of back to back cancellations in one day. As well as the cancellations which came about after confirming the appointment which made me leave me house for the appointment. I guess its just part of the business and I enjoyed venting on the forum.

Tried to book a particular lady yesterday. Said "are you available in 30 minutes"? Two minutes of back and forth on services and address and I said via WahtsApp "okay, great, see you soon". I start for the venue and get a message, "You come at ****, okay?"

Eish. Glad I didn't get further down the road and that I looked at the message. The time didn't suit me and I may not see her at a future date because of this exchange. If you start out with "Are you available in 30 minutes", one shouldn't need to then 'negotiate' the time of the booking. You either are or are not available in 30 minutes.

Sadly, it works both ways Alice.

I have to add that if my clients want to book a day in advance or over a weekend I ask them to pay upfront to confirm their bookings.

So far, the guys that do not mind paying this upfront were absolutely amazing clients and we had amazing times. The last one being on Saturday and we ended up turning a one hour booking into a three hour booking. Simply because he was quite pleasant to be around.

Should the client need to cancel after payment has been made I believe it really is an emergency or that they truly could not make it.

Then I also dont mind keeping the money as a credit for him for future use.

With that being said if my clients are not comfortable paying me upfront that is also okay and completely understandable. But I do advise then that I can't for sure say I will be available at said time they wanted to book as I work on a first come first serve basis with a 30-60min notice of the booking upfront.

So perhaps my suggestions would be to practice something similar?

It's a recipe that works for me personally, and maybe ot could work for you as well:)

How do you receive you "deposit"


I'm not to keen on using my bank account (privacy issues)
Also the idea of going to the shop or bank to do a deposit / cash send seens to much work

Unfortunately karma seems to be an under performer...
