For those out there whom are open to new ideas and growth consider this viewpoint.
Find out what you are worth per hour of work.
1)Convert anything you wish to purchase to rand value and then see how many hours you need to work to be able to buy that product or service.
Lets take a few simple hypothetical examples with some givens:
a monthly salary of R35000 and
approx 20 working days per month
8h of work per day
Wants a pair of shoes R1200
R35000/20 days = R1750 per day
8h of work per day so
R218.75 worth per hour approx
Therefore to afford said pair of shoes R1200 / R218,75= 5,5h of work approx.
Wants to see an advertiser R900
R35000/20 days = R1750 per day
8h of work per day so
R218.75 worth per hour approx
Therefore to afford said advertiser R900 / R218,75= 4,1h of work approx for 1hour for example
When the money value of the effort you make is greater than the money value of what you want, you end up ahead.
When the money value of the effort you make is less than the money value of what you want, you end up in debt basically.
Is it worth it to you? If not find a way to increase the amount you gain per hour, regardless of its source you will come out ahead.
If you finding that you are always in the negative and are making decisions/purchases based on emotions only to regret them later on consider changing spending habits.
2. Once you find ways to increase income and if you're bound to a contract such as mortgage or employment take your disposable extra cash and buy your time back assuming you paid off debt or generated income to replace income from employment etc.
Find out your monthly expenses say for example R25k.
Disposable cash or savings on hand R80k
Therefore you. Can "buyback" your time in the form of 80k/25k=3,2 months.
An Increase in the income means an increase in your buying/negotiating power which means increase in how much of your time you can "buyback"
The buyback concept is freedom from ties that bind so to speak.
Note this isn't financial advice so don't be retarded. Rather use this info to increase the value of your lives and in turn others.
