Relationships don't always work out, doesn't matter where or how you met. You can't be stuck in an unhappy relationship just because you're feel financially responsible for someone else. Even if it's your fault that things didn't work out you're not beholden to someone. If she's holding financial guilt over your head then she was just with you for the money in any event.

I learnt a long time ago never to put my eggs in one basket.

What i can say is, i am ever thankful that i was in the sensual space when lockdown was at its peak.

My "L... Health and Wellness" literally became near non existent with sporting events cancelled, gyms closed, people in general desiring no personal contact and belts tightened re money spend.

Much done in the wellness space was pro bono in challenged underprivileged communities.

Having a choice to choose as to earnings is never a bad thing.

Am i desperate?

Luckily not.

A space found. A space enjoyed tremendously and until such time that Mr Right walks into my life, there is no reason to walk away....not even for extended family for i have a feeling the cat has been out the bag for a long long time and thus all i can do is conduct myself the way i have till now, respectful of the space occupied and the way i have defined it for myself and my clients.

As to Mr Right...i would hate my Mr Right to be 'kafoofling' with another woman's deliciousness and thus i would walk away from this wing of earnings as that is what i would expect in return.

The issue being ...would Mr Right understand that many classify me as a "prostitute" and would he be emotionally mature enough to accept that?...or does one keep that part of ones life secret and forever look over ones shoulder lest ones past catches up to one.

Who knows what the future holds. I wonder.

Addendum: a definite reason to leave ANY workspace would be inheriting a shitload of money creating a legacy for kids and grandkids.

I once asked a wg if she likes being a wg and she instinctively said she's got the best job, gets paid to have sex, work her own hours etc. However, when I prompted her with questions like, do you like having to hide what you do from your kids and family, all the lying, living a double life, looking over your shoulder in public when you're with family hoping someone won't recognize and potentially embarrass you, or find you on social media and out you, or still being looked down for what you do by society, the physical dangers the job comes with, the emotional challenges it brings, not having a secure and stable income, not being able to get a real job because you have a huge gap in your cv and not being qualified to do anything else that will remotely pay you what you are earning now so you are basically stuck, not being able to get proper credit, to struggle to rent a place in your name without proper paperwork, the difficulty of having romantic relationships because you must either lie what you do or the person must have been a client with comes with its own challenges, lying to people you meet out of the industry or just choosing to simply not meet people out of the industry because it's too much of a hassle to cover up what you do, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on. She admitted if she could leave she would, and eventually she managed to.

Hats off to the ladies who are genuinely happy to do this, but I think most girls given the chance would turn their backs on this in a heart beat.

I have most of my life been a sole proprietor with a registered company and contracted .

Nothing has changed walking into this space and i do not see why it should.

There are many more positive liberties at ones disposal and can be put to good use....as long as one deposits consistent "earnings" in ones "business" bank account as opposed to ones "personal" bank account.

Need to add...this is another discussion on its own and would warrant an in depth debate .

I always say this job for me is like a prison sentence...
At first the MONEY BLINDED ME...IT WAS THE SWEETEST KISS FAR BETTER THEN SUMMER ROMANCE OR FIRST AFFAIR or FIRST LOVE... I was fine with it, even DAMN PROUD of it, I even got rejected on numerous occasions for it...I still stood tall and Proud...even my Pastor knows what I do...DEFENDED IT FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS...The False Illusion it Sold me and I FULLY BOUGHT INTO IT ie getting your own place 'yet still paying off someone else bond... not to mention falling in love with a 'punter', I fell deeper into the rabbits hole...you think you free but your not...EVERDAY is a SURVIVAL MATCH...
It has become part of me..I will never deny it..it taught me alot..right or wrong..it made me tougher..sometimes cold hearted too...
It's almost killed me...yet I'm still here lol

My prison sentence Got extended...
I am sometimes released on probation for good behaviour lol but then I get called back in...to continue serving day in day out...

In hindsight...

I chose it...No one forced me or held a gun against my head... YES
It took me places Swaziland, Cape Town Durban...Rivonia Sandton...Hell I even got engaged while in this industry...it's seen me at My BEST AND AT MY WEAKEST!!

But sometimes I wake up and I SO DAMN WISH THAT today will be my final day, WILL I finally get my Presidential Pardon...?
HAS THE DAY FINALLY ARRIVED...

I will continue to serve my sentence...10yrs and counting...
However Oneday I WILL BE OFFICIALLY RELEASED!!!

And ONLY THEN WILL MY LIFE FIN ALLY AND TRULY BEGIN...

Yes, there are ways and means around things, but it's just so much tougher to deal with banks, rental agencies, etc in this line of work. It's much easier with a normal job, you don't have to set up a company, or get fake payslips like some girls do, etc.

there is no need for fake anything when one earns ones keep no matter which way.

many on here profess to be experienced masseuse's and and and...and i am sure they are after years in the space. There are ways and means without 'feeling' guilty or hiding ones 'hard' earned cash.

I think it boils down to being money savy, frugal in ones spend, having a goal to achieve and working toward it...that is, if a girl wants to get out of this space.

I know much easier said than done but, many have done it and i am sure many more will!

There is a lot I can say about this subject as I have been around the block and then some. I love what I do, but after many years of living two lives I find myself wishing for some kind of normality.
I quit this industry a few years back because I fell in love. I learned very valuable lessons.
Whilst we all have our own opinions, I can tell you from experience that Ladies do not need a Knight in Shining Armour to save us. There is an old saying "Don't give a man a fish, but rather teach him how to fish.
So Number 1, Ladies don't go expecting a man to pay your bills. And Gent's don't go offering to pay her a monthly retainer to quit the business.
The ladies here are all very independent and by offering to give her a monthly allowance you are still somehow "buying or paying her for her time" which is a kind of ownership. Rather help her find, guide and invest in a business or career where she can still retain her own financial independence rather than be a financial liability on you.
