Are there any girls offering card facilities instead of cash payments. These new portable POS make it much easier to pay with cards. More girls shluld offer them... anyine know of any girls who accept cards instead of cash in CPT particularly?

The volume of business transactions going through those machines will offsets the costs involved ( machine rental and monthly transactional administration costs,etc) If you a high volume business like a club etc.

It sounds cheap as a and convenient as there is a once off fee to get machine at around 300 to 500 depending what u want to use it for.

Transaction fees start at 2.95% per transaction.

So putting 5000 through will cost you a lady about 150.

The risk is not the minimal charges you pay to have that convenience for clients, but the reversal or disputes that may result from credit card payments.

With guys reversing things like cashsends and doing fake efts of late I hink most ladies prefer things to stay uncomplicated and prefer cash.

Clubs and venues will benifit not ladies that work independently and on their own, as only 1 or 2 clients might use the machines anyway, it just increases the risks and the admin involved.

I had card facilities and this is exactly where it all bombed out, After several reversed transactions, I stopped right there. How do I dispute a reversed transaction, Believe me, there were more reversed transactions than actual credits.How do I even begin to argue that a guy has booked me. How do I prove that the guy who presented the card is the owner of the card? I know my brother's pin and he knows mine. I had a guy with a woman's card, he knew the pin. I actually didn't look at the card first, the transaction went through. Then saw the card was in the name of a Mrs Afrikans surname and here was an Indian guy in front of me. I reversed the transaction and told him to rather go draw. Besides, sooner or later the bank will notice all the reversed transactions.
My advice to ladies would be not to take card transactions. As Miss Red says, it profitable for clubs but not private ladies.

I dont want to use my card for this type of service.

Wooow... I genuinely never knew that u can reverse the payment, legit. How is that even possible?

I've had a yoco machine for a couple of months now and I've never had any issues at all, never ever.

So does that mean I can go to mr.price, pay with my card and then reverse the payment if I want to???

If a client pays me r800, they take about R25, which is a little more than wat it costs for me to go to the mall and deposit money into my acc, so its no biggie.

Plus better if it goes straight to my acc, less chance of me spending it frivolously... And the thing with me is I always deposit most of my money in my acc anyway, its a habit.

But I'm not saying ppl must start having card machines, ppl must do wat works for them.

So i was refferring to those yoco machines yes, which many vendors are using now too because the transaction cost are really minimal. To me its probably much safer to use than having cash around. Im not sure about reverse payments on these machines. Payments could be reversed with the permission from the reciever.

Was just asking as its often a mission to draw wadds of cash and often thats what makes me change my mind about visiting a lady at the last minute.
