The routine I go through before a punt as follows, wash, trim, rinse, cut aftershave, my brand of protection.
Fresh clothes have the exact $$ and some extra if the session gets extended.
If the lady asks to shower before the punt it's the respectful thing to do. Having a shower together does make it more fun.
Keep it clean and enjoy.

I agree with Greyfox, early morning punts are typically the best.
