Despite my skepticism on this global coronavirus pandemic, which is well documented, our President is trying his best to ease the burden on the poor and vulnerable in our already fragile country. However, once the IMF and World Bank step in, our country will once again be enslaved/captured, this time by the One World Bank. The damage done by this 'pandemic' has and will further render us and the world weak (and helpless) and at the mercy of the narcissistic, malevolent one percenters who control the world.
You can bet your bottom dollar that the remaining 7 billion fearful, ordinary folk will accept anything thrown at them to 'protect' them from this 'virus', including further restrictions on our human rights (privacy and freedom) with further surveillance and Orwellian laws, culminating in the Gates' vaccine, microchip and all (or as some religious folk term as the mark of the beast), which most will be eagerly queuing up to be injected with.

In my opinion, if the lockdown is lifted to start the economic again, you need them to control the social distancing, wearing of masks, ect in order to minimize the spread of the virus until a vaccine is found ;)

I'm not so sure Johnny English, quite a few of the blue collar workers I know have already gone back to work. My neighbour has said that he needs the money he can't afford to stay at home even with furlough (80% salary the government provides). The guy lives a simple life and his overtime basically keeps his household running. No lockdown rules will keep him home.

Unless there is some level of dictatorial approach to keeping people at home, the reality is that there are so many different perspectives to be taken from this whole situation. My observation is that those who can work from home, who are on the dole or have enough wealth are pretty happy to be at home. But there is a great proportion of the population that are living day to day that will not be able to stay home for much longer and it's slowly beginning to show. In London for example we are seeing situations where City workers have gone from shopping at Waitrose to going to food banks.

Yes it's not South Africa but there is alot that can be taken from how this has played out here in the UK especially when people are being given 80% of their salary and still can't make ends meet. We can have the conversation about financial responsibility but again its perspective, easy to say but not easy to implement with the economic situation evolving as it has over the last few years.

I think the Bill Gates/5G/microchip angle is a distraction. As you rightly suspect there is something going on, it's inconceivable that a commodity like oil could trade at negative figures but here we are, essentially you would have been paid $37 to take a barrel oil, which says a helluva lot about the state of play. We should be asking very serious questions about the price of fuel after this.

We have big companies here who should easily be able to pay their employees their full salaries at least for the next two months, these companies are claiming furlough from the government to pay their employees 80% of their salaries. Either they are greedy bastards or they have been cooking figures.

One thing is for sure the world will never be the same again.

Because more people will be out and about and will probably try to go back to life as it were ignoring social distancing, taking safety precautions, and most likely start partying in groups again and we honestly can't have that or this whole lockdown would have been a waste.
