As many anticipated, the lockdown has been extended. Can we please stay home and help government minimize this disease without us making it difficult.

Yes, let's fuck up what's left of this economy!
We should rather have made it compulsory that everyone wears masks, kept schools closed, not allowed mass gatherings. But people (or at least a large portion), should have gone back to work.

How's that asking large companies to still pay staff and suppliers even though they're not making or technically not allowed to make money?

Shits getting real.

I share your sentiments as continued movement has led us to where we are now. It won't be easy on us but stricter lockdown measures are required.

Nah, people were seeing the light thinking few more days and everything will be back to normal. Now people are gonna be wondering how long they'll still be paid while their companies are not making money.

Edcon already said they won't open doors, yes they were in trouble but 44,000 jobs. EOH cut management and exec salaries before this news and changed the rest to 4 day weeks (60-30% pay cut).

People were waiting for few more days for lockdown to end to get things other than food and meds and now what. You can't even do renovations and gardening and sewing etc while you're home if you can't get supplies. People thinking they canvleave the dogs poo in the yard and the grass uncut for 3 weeks. Now what and for how long really?

Are you lazy? Pick up your own dog poo and cut the grass yourself and get some exercise!

I could see that this would happen....

Logically if lock down ends Thursday, it will just blow Covid19 up again as not enough testing has been done.

Not even 1% of our population has been tested. How do we actually know how many people are actually already infected.

14 more days and I am really not sure how to do this but I doubt it will end there.
