This is extortion and blackmail and you have every right to press charges. These guys are trying to scare you into paying them off. Whether they are real cops or fake cops, this will not hold up in court, especially given the frequency of this tactic using fake notes and crying rape. It can be proven to be false and a means of extortion/blackmail.
