The "happiness" is just in the fact that I realise that I made a doos of myself probably for the first time in my life by putting my heart out on my sleeve. And then realising that it was not a reciprocal feeling.
Better to know than to guess, the uncertainty is always the worse.
So the "happiness" is not really happiness, it is just that I know what a doos I made of myself. Knowing that I can focus on blocking up the drawbridge. So "happy" to be constructing again.

INL: that is truelly my worst fear, thinking that feelings are reciprocal, only to find out you were watching an entire different "movie" than her, to no ones fault.
