How's the atmosphere during the festive season. I've never worked in jhb till the 23rd before.

It's usually a lot quieter with people gone away on holiday ....However 2020 is different and with the lockdowns people may not have money for holidays???

Yes usually very quiet with most shops and restaurants etc closing quite early. A bit depressing actually.

...and im told the holiday destinations are picking up ito c19. Folks relaxing etc.
Who knows. Generally things go dead in most spheres between 1612 and early jan

It usually gets very quiet, and it's my absolute favourite time of the year in the city.

As people say, there are likely to be more people around this year, but generally there are only a few places open, streets are Sunday-morning-quiet, and people are few are far between.

But everything is luscious and green, parks are open and perfectly quiet, picnics, afternoon swims, and sundowners are the order of the day. If you have good company to share them with, that just makes it all so much better.
