I shall quote:
".....Sleep is a stage of reduced mental and physical activity in which consciousness is altered and certain sensory activity is inhibited during sleep.
There's the marked decrease in muscle activity and interactions with the surrounding environment.
Sleep differs from wakefulness in terms of the ability to react to stimuli but, still involves active brain patterns making one more reactive than a coma or to disorders of the conscious.
During sleep, most of the body systems are in an anabolic state helping to restore the immune system, nerve system, skeletal and muscular systems, all vital to mind and body wellness."
#######
All having an impact on mood, memory and cognitive functions.
Plus strengthening the immune system, brain function, healing and physical health.
It is important to understand the physiological aspect and impact of sleep on the brain , growth patterns and healing.
It not only impacts on a physical but, it also impacts on mental health. Impacting on the heart, blood pressure, just to name some more.
It ain't rocket science as to why we strive for a strong immune system....the "soldiers" that protect and fight infections.
Erratic mood swings through stress and tension, injury and other debilitating underlying symptoms does affect one's social spaces, professional spaces as well as personal and intimate relations.
Looking forward to being your lead in working toward understanding your mind and body clock and how to adjust it for optimal rest and a more balanced state of wellbeing.

Increasing productivity
Positive intent and habits.
Leads to
Motivation
Focus
Self-care
Something as simple as
Making your bed
Washing your face and teeth and brushing your hair
And then can begin the embrace of much more
NOT ROCKET SCIENCE....just a reminder. One does get caught up in the rat race.
Make "sleeping in" a cheat. So much pleasure derived from that...a reward.
Make waking early a habit and with gratitude even if challenges may feel overwhelming.
FAITH .
Feed your body and mind. Sustenance. Energy required to keep you going through the day.
Set achievable goals for the day.
DO NOT overwhelm yourself.
It does make one feel as if one may be fighting a losing battle simply because to many targets set with unreasonable expectations.
Remember as they say... Rome was not built in 1 day.
The placebo effect - referred to as a sham treatment.
One can say ...that is what it is.
The POWER of positive intent and design.
Looking fwd to working with you in positive growth.
We all know to do it .
But how much more achievable when given a little guidance and learning to affirm and recognise and acknowledge the self in taking on a new journey.
I look fwd to being part of your mind and body wellness programme.

Flexibility
Calf...by stretching the calf, not only does it help with flexibility but, does have a positive impact on the Achilles tendon.
Again too much of anything can lead to impediment eg. Tiring of other interacting muscles.
Another pointer to consider when suffering from consistent tightness and cramping of calves, is a possible deficiency of magnesium, low levels of electrolytes.
Calf strength and stability is known to power other muscles .
To remember that the posterior chain of muscles are:
Calves
Hamstrings
Glutes.
And with that comes the ripple effect eg. Possible lower back pain.
And thus...
When looking for the right medical massage therapy it is NOT about targeting the pain as much as it is looking for the cause that leads to addressing the pain.
I look fwd to being your personal therapist and assisting with those aches, niggles and pains.

Many thanks for the growing interest.
I do not care to impress with story telling.
Let my therapy session, and maybe reading some of the posts on this thread speak for itself.
I KNOW I am good.
Brush up on offerings as posted earlier on this thread

When I talk about:
Mind and body wellness.
This is the same as mind and body fitness.
It isn't rocket science and we are aware of it.
Like anything acknowledgement, implementation is key...OWN IT.
A big must in mind and body wellness requires focus, deliberate movement and controlled breathing.
Understanding the various ways one can engage in this sort of balancing of wellness may sound daunting or demanding yet, is neither .
Finding YOUR first step to restoring the connection between mind and body can be made easier with mentoring , giving meaning to the purpose and goal set through direction and regulation.
I look fwd to hearing from you and showing you how easy it is, leaving positive ripple effects in all areas of your life.

Knowing ones strengths and weaknesses, goals and ambitions leads to productivity.
LIMITS.
Optimising activity by acknowledging and learning from them.
Every humans need for agency, safety and wellbeing.
Limitations:-
Social
Environmental
Intellectual
Psychological
Physical.
To practice self-awareness and mindfulness.
Quoted:-
"...understand what a function approaches as the input gets closer to a certain value, even when the function is undefined at that point. "
Limits are witness of self-awareness, pragmatism / wisdom.
Knowing ones limits in all aspects of ones life eg. Work, exercising is not a hindrance but, rather the first step to personal growth.
This post is a continuation of the mindset post on this thread...the X factor.
Looking fwd to chatting and identifying and applying solutions both physical and otherwise optimising growth as opposed to procrastination.
