Has to be in a luxurious open cottage on a beach. No doors or windows. Just the ocean breeze blowing through and candlelight. Like the ones in Maldives...

A cozy log cabin in the Mountains....something like Cathedrals Peak in the Drakensburg or Crystal Springs near Pilgrims Rest in the winter in front of a roaring fire.

Various Chateaux in the French countryside spring to mind too. Nothing like being surrounded by history and architectural beauty.

From my experience the most unplanned places, end up to be some of the most romantic places...
When chemistry, emotions and timing fall into place, magic usually follows regardless of location.
Other than that, Santorini has some great hotels with balconies overlooking the Mediterranean...

I tend to prefer colder places over Warmer places as I tend to feel lethargic and sweaty from to much heat, not to mention that hot places have bugs that bite. Never really got comfortable shagging in the heat...
