here's a suggestion to improve these forum pages.
What about an option to delete one's account but leaving all posts 'as
is' ie with Nick, Date Registered, Postcount etc?

Here's why I think this site needs this.
My previous account (Chmok) is still an active one albeit of no use
because it is banned.
My posts under this account though add value (any old posts do actually
I think, in fact I know it's true - and this is the reason why I've not
deleted my old profile) to this website because they can be referenced,
be linked to one user..... contrary to 'Deleted' of which there are MANY
different one's already between which one cannot distinguish, and this
number seems to increase every day.
All these posts from 'Deleted' mean nothing to nobody because they
cannot be referenced to a member let alone to a specific member, and of
course the Search function produces zilch if the Nick is part of the
search string entered.
If the posts remain 'as are' when the member deletes himself then this
would not be the case: all will remain there for all to see/read making
for a logical format which by default makes sense, quite like an active
thread.
Compare this to a thread in which only 'Deleted' has posted, you may as
well delete it - and this is a real possibility as per current?

In addition, I have 2 active accounts at the moment, disallowed by this
site's rules actually.
I still can login under my previous nick but of course will not, no use,
I can't do anything but for accessing the forums a bit
easier/quicker/more efficient.
It may be better to have the default "Delete Profile" function deleting
the member-nick only, not his posts: he cannot login anymore under that
name but the posts remain unaltered. Mind, you may want to add
"Unsubscribed <date>" perhaps, or just simply remove the 'Send Message'
button.
If you'd provide for an option (not per default maybe) to "Anonymize all
my posts" for those needing anonymity then the posts will revert to
'Deleted' as per now.
If you do this then I'll chuck Chmok, he was a Schmuck apparently ;-)

I think it's a bloody good idea. All these "deleteds" popping up everywhere are becoming quite annoying. Cmoks's (is that correct grammar? ) idea, if implemented, will at least help reduce the number of "deleteds" and add credibility to a lot of old posts .

I basically think it's a good idea because there are Blokes like you for instance. Even though you don't have a reliable punter badge I know I can trust your review. However if your review is mentioned under a nameless/deleted profile it sort of defeats the purpose for it being there as it could another wg having registered an account to do malice to another thereby by deleting the account after. Therefor I fully support your view mate.

Please don't shoot me down because what I am about to write is my opinion.
To delete a name keeping the review doesn't make sense especially if the information just might help someone or not.
Punters and male client's have all funny names and own linger to communicate. A Lady on the other hand has all reviews good or bad, we update our pictures and have to keep our profile updated to suit the ESA clients.
Ladies whether FH or MG we can't just delete and in a way is good because if you serious about improving bad posts can come in handy.
Punters should acknowledge the same name when booking. This gives the Ladies an opportunity to know if this client will enjoy her service.

ESA how about a log-in fee for none members so that they can view the Ladies profile for just that log-in time. It's the none members that don't know the rules causing endless stress. Punters that are banned can then also 're log in for that time saving them having all the funny names.
I certainly won't let some of the punters or clients through my door. I advertise MG 8 out of 10 calls want FH. So many provisional FH pretty classy ladies put themselves available but yet men egnore viewing this page. They see a pretty face and call.
ESA how about a list of rules for all of us making it clear if rules are not respected don't let them use your Company to gain access as they probably are the ones giving your Company a bad name which is so not true.
Being banned has happened for a reason we all should be aware of this it's upto the Lady or gentlemen to decide and take a chance if punters are using different names how does a Lady know this until he's back on your door step.....not welcome due to previous bad behaviour. Name and number should match.

One of the problems is I suggested the [deleted] option in some wayward means to ESA/James.
They/James implemented this, and it seems it has become TOO popular, some dose even abuse it to post a handful of (fake) comments and then disappear as, you guessed it, [deleted].
The postcount remaining is, I think, not enough to add credibility, hence my suggestion for improvement.
