Every winter I help collect beanies, kids & adults jerseys, scarves and blankets and donate them to a very deserving charity.
This year I'm doing it again and want to see if the ESA community would like to participate in making a few less fortunate children in a poorer community a lot warmer this winter. Because we're so late into autumn and with the bitterly cold June ahead of us I'm trying to set a 3 week target of getting everything together.
Target date: 10 June deadline to collect everything and get it to the charity on Saturday 11 June
I'm proposing that if you wish to join in and help the little guys have a warmer winter that those who wish to can purchase or fish out a few winter goodies and you can drop in at our venue on Friday 10 June.
I'll promise to pay all of our ladies their full day's average salary for the day and rope them in to meet & greet, offer a few free whiskey's & beers on arrival and help me out getting loads of boeries on the braai for you to have a quick snack to say thank you.
For us to remain anonymous and just know that we've helped others that are less fortunate out I will post a link on this thread to the NGO's Facebook page a couple of days after collection.
I will thus do a countdown every few days on this thread as a reminder for those who wish to participate.
All the ladies and gents in our ESA community are welcome to participate.
Here's to a warmer winter!
Cheers,
Andy.
