Anyone attending the canton fair ? Any tips for guangzhou nughtlife?

I attended the fair last October

Stay away from the KTV clubs, entrance starts from about 5k , then you still have to pay for the girl.
Also the massage parlors are a waste of time, best you find someone and take her back to your hotel, make sure she can speak English a little atleast, otherwise it will be a horrible experience

In my experience stay away from clubs, not worth the time and effort. Depending on hotel you are staying at you will most likely get lucky in foyer or at the bar, especially this time of the year due to the fair, make sure that services and pricing is agreed to up front before you go to the room also make sure as per hotel policy you are allowed guests, this thread brings back some very interesting escapades for myself, just use your big head before you go to room and you should have a wild time!!! If you are not interested in having an encounter i would suggest you unplug the bedroom phone, otherwise you may get a call at 1 or 2 in the morning asking you if you want a massage.
