i rarely do it but couple of time a WG gave me out of this world fun time with no rush at all and I felt what she was charging me was less than the value of their services provided. In that case I did give them a tip to compensate and also to motivate them.

I always typically tip if the lady gives a good service, even if the lady charges me R7000 or R800 but that is me. I also feel that the lady will remember one more if one does so.

But have no hesitation in not doing if I feel that the lady is taking me for granted or gives so-so service.

There's no way to candy coat this:

Waiters rely on tips - they earn shit, so if the service is good, I tip generously. Kak service - no tip. (You must see the look on their faces when that happens.)
My mechanic charges me R650 an hour, my doctor, R400 per consult. They both do stirling jobs. They don't get a tip.
WGs charge me between R700 and R1K - I don't see the neccessity to tip. (Frankly I find it demeaning) But I will bring flowers or choccies the next time - it takes more effort and time, and I believe its more appreciated.

I appreciate the flowers and chocolates and perfumes I get from my clients, most of them give a little extra which is also appreciated and confirms that they have a good time with me ;-)

I once received such superlative service from a young Bulgarian girl that I could not help but tip her handsomely.

Unbelievably she very graciously declined it, much to my embarrassment.

I use to tip my regular, untill one day I forgot my wallet at home, after a punt, I told her I dont have money to pay since I dont have my wallet with me, hell broke loose, she forgot all the tips I gave all years.
