That Gayle storm was insane. If he clicks on Friday proteas can pack up. Take nothing from the WI tour. The WC its in the day n BMT some of the younger guys need that else under pressure the choker tag will show sadly

I suppose most of the wg's on this forum will be supporting 'de Kok to rise to the situation' in the next game

lol Yes, Gayle can change to course of a game in a heart beat. But, as years gone on I learned to just enjoy the game. Punched a hole into a door after the Semi in 1999. So decided to chill during world cups :-)

De Kock is a future investment. Extreme talent but needs some time with the big guys. (Felt like speaking my mind as I noticed some comments on him). He scored into the 60s during a warm up game against Sri Lanka darem.

My vote would be on NZ or Australia to take the cup. Seems like they are working well as a team at the moment. In fact, this is the strongest NZ team I've ever seen...

@klassik1, I stopped that, as replacing that door been a mission :-) But damn, been a tough moment. Ek was so seker dat Klusener daai lopie gaan kry!

Now, taking it game by game and enjoying the moments of glory. The not so lekker games, well, I'll just drink a few extra beers that evening :-).

I'm thinking this is going to be a "beer" kind off world cup for me. The guys don't seem to adopt to the pitches over there.

even if SA lose to WI, which i still think SA has a chance of winning, making it to the next round shouldnt be difficult, then in the next round its knock outs, so as much as AUS, and NZ, stand out on the day any team can rise to the ocassion in the semis....yes SA may not look as strong as AUS,NZ,and maybe India, but they do have the ability to uproot teams like AUS on a good day.....
