People I have 16 paid entrances besides the Pablos crew. Very difficult to start arranging anything.

So PLEASE don't wait until the last moment to make your payment. For catering purposes we need an indication atleast 10 days before the event to enable us to order stock in.

So make my and Martin's life a bit easier.

After all we are darm nice guys.

Howzit you53. The Social starts around 11am and we are here until 3am

Just to give you an idea

We run a soup kitchen evry Saturday in Winter. They don't come to us we go to them from the guys/ families on the street corner to pensioners

We all get specific areas to drop off

So one of my stop offs is under the Klipriver bridge

Not sure where they come from but when they see my bakkie stop everyone crawls out of the woodworks

So the one day the missus was using my car and they tried to hijack her

Every one of those "beggars" were onto them in a second

Everytime there was a social i was either out of town traveling to cpt of somewhere ( back when i was still staying in GP) and 3 times in a row now i was in GP visiting (since i moved to Cpt) and i missed the socials because, i choose clients over fun and just socializing...;)

But a friend said.. you must attend, you must make time for fun..everyone should make time for fun now and them... so i listened and i planned to travel just for the social.

Half the people i thought would be there had hinted or said they wont be going due to economic restraints or some other reason. Which made me realise that the economy had done its number even on our industry in a way that aint noticeable on the surface.

The time lost that i wont be earning because of travel time there, the costs of traveling there, the accomodation costs, i dont just stay around the corner or close enough like a lot of you that can jump the gautrain or carpool there to the social.

Is it worth it.. i think the charity part of this and the genuinely nice people that i do know is attending will make it worth it...;)

Maybe the rest of you can reconsider and attend, as my friend said we all need to make time for some fun.. leave all the drama and all the stress at home for a hour or 6 and come and just be.

I would be very sad if this gets cancelled.
