I am cowardly in the sense I have no guts to share in the company of the Purple community yet, still would like to make a difference if possible...and it is pretty obvious there are many like me.

Thus .

U reached out...bank that little bit and make a difference in the life of the needy!...even if u ain't going to the social.

As peterb let us all know the lengths he went to to help a person in need...maybe we all should follow his example?

There are 13 badges that can be awarded by ESA on the purple pages.

The most coveted seems to be "the punter of the year".

Seems dick performance carries more weight on the purple pages than being acknowledged by Esa for good deeds done -charity.


If a "dick"...in more ways than one .... can be acknowledged and displayed proudly, then why not a charity badge?

I say..a wonderful balance is being reached by Esa even though this is a sexy site.
Sometimes a nudge of acknowledgement knows to spur on others who might be hesitant to pledge even R50.
