Black is the colour of choice

I see that a lot, well most of the WG prefer black attire/lingerie/bikini when in their profiles. Of course we see an odd purple, blue or golden every now and then, but majority is black
What is the reason for it? Is it personal choice, guided by the photographer, advd by fellow WGs, easy availability etc ...
Pls enlighten us.

My skin tone always looks best drapped in black. I've tried other colours but always get the most compliments when head to toe in black.
