I was referred to a report on Bloomberg where Salim Abdool Karim, former chairman of the government's ministerial advisory committee on Covid-19, said that "South Africa expects a fourth wave of coronavirus infections to start on Dec. 2 and to last about 75 days" ..... Wow !
And the good news, he said that "data is suggesting the current wave will end about Aug. 26." ....

The good news is with the current rate of vaccination - near 10 million to date - in the 4th wave most people will only have mild symptoms if any and there will be very few hospitalisations and deaths - just like the experience in the UK.
