The scene: A 10am appoinment.

At 10;40 the fun is over and the scenario is the 2 of you just chatting.

The intercom buzzes, and your phone message bleeps:
"Hi, my meeting ended early so I'm here outside"

What do you do?

Please tell me. It has happened twice.
Then I'll tell you how the WG handled it.

Depends on the lady..... if she ignores it...... then cool.
If she wants/hints that you should leave, then that will be the last time she sees me.....

My phone is never with me when I have a client.

Noise by gate...
I'll ask my client to excuse me for a minute and go investigate.

The early bird will be informed that I am not ready and in fact running 10 min late.

I'll offer my inconvenienced, probably disgruntled client a small discount or a video or give him a quick spoil with the extra 10 minutes.

What else can a lady do?

My phone never gets answered while I am with a client. And I won't answer the door either.

That said a few weeks ago I had a client and my doorbell rang like a mad thing. Eventually had to stop the massage and go answer the doorbell phone. Not the door.

It was one of the neighbours kids that wanted to get into the building and his own family was not opening the gate if he rang their bell. I was very upset and could not apologize enough to the client after that. But I had to answer it that ringing was distraction at level 10000. Luckily he was a very understanding guy and there was no hard feelings about that.

I am new in my building and who ever lived here before use to open the entry gate for all the neighbours ,their children and for the workers and delivery people, for anyone that rang the bell, regardless if it was for them or not. The people in the building got so spoilt that they still did that.

They don't do that anymore. As later that day I went and pushed little notes through everyone's doors that told them I ain't the door keep and I would appreciate it if they teach their children not to press other tenants buttons to get into the building. Also went and saw the shop owner down stairs as they have cooling and network systems on roof and when the repair people come they also press my button rather than going into the store to get the store staff to come open for them.

I since have learned to lift the phone connected to the bell of the hook when I am busy.

Sometimes live happens and things are out of our control. And we have to deal with it whether we want to or not.

The client that was early in your case, was not being thoughtfully, by pitching up early.

But if she scheduled the bookings a bit further apart and left enough time inbetween for her to breath, clean up, shower and maybe have a cup of coffee, him pitching even 20 minutes early should not have been a issue.

Because your appointment should have been done finished in full time without interruption and over long before he pitched up early.

If its all done and dusted 20min before the time is over, I don't hang around, as that to me is a sign that we lacked chemistry, then no need to chew the fat.

The first time it happened to me:
She strolled over to the intercom and pushed the button to let him in @#$%^&&**(**

Told me to leave but use the back stairs.

Second time: She phoned him and told him to come back in half an hour.

I expect ladies to switch their phones off or is that too much to ask?

The inercom buzzing? That could be more difficult to deal with.

What do you think, Ladies?
