Alright so I got a phone call from scumbag named Warrant Officer Verwey. Number is +27639299128

Someone gave out my number but I'm willing to put in money to find this person!

It's time to turn the tables as these people are bribing police or someone to get the real names behind numbers.

I have not been punting for a while but this person knew my name but wouldnt give their badge or station. He then said I need to put something on the table to make the investigation to go away.

I also urge every decent person to ensure the following is done:

Remove phone numbers from social media
Never leave your phone lying around especially anyone you have just met

I want to find out who gave away my number and will put up a reward

I got a call from a constable "". Telling me a case of rape is opened against me from a lady in escort service. Now because I'm a law abiding citizen. He wants to help me clear my name quick. I MUST SEND HIM R5K BEFORE 2PM SAME DAY. we'll meet he'll tear the docket right in front of me.. I of course called ferlands police and told there's no such person and should just block them or tell them to meet at the station.. So from my ordeal fellow punters please beware .. I know I might be generalizing and its definitely not all ladies who might do this but to avoid getting bitten.. Please dont use your real numbers when contacting these ladies because those can be traced to your personal information somehow.. Guess my naivety was also using my real numbers.. But as sweet, unsuspecting as they seem. Please be careful gents!! .. Seems punting isnt the only trade the ladies are into.

The scamsters have also extended their trade. They are placing sales ads on social media amd gathering numbers that way and then claiming you paid with fake money or some shit like that. So I think buying call logs from wgs will.peter off. Its a whole lot less pt to gather numbers from market place... no middleman and delete the fb profile and ad once they have scammed someone.

Got a similar call saying I paid with counterfeit money. He called me by my true caller name which is a combination of my different nicknames from different circles, so no one calls me that in real life. Told him to since we are in different cities I'll go to a police station in my city and call him from there so he talks to the cops to arrest me. Never heard from him again. Another giveaway the sirens and police station noise was too dramatic. Obviously cheap movie sound effects

I got a call once and never again. Get a punting sim..its easy and costs 10 bucks no questions asked.

The second you send just a text ,your number is out there and usually saved on her phone. Also switched my Facebook off because that's where they go to check you out. I can live without social media thanks. Too many online scammers especially now that everyone is online all day.

This is not going away soon, there is just to many people in this world that are out to make a quick buck by any means possible, we all should just be more carefully with personal info.

Guys should keep track of who they contact.. so if something like this happens to you, you atleast have an idea of where it might originate from. Talk to other guys that have posted about similar happenings. Think of it this way..
You all hold pieces to a puzzle and that puzzle will never be completed unless you all put your piece on the table to be assembled.

So these guys sent one guy a case nr I checked the case nr and it was registered for cable theft what a chop because we called him after that he did not know what to say.

If they tell you that you paid in fake notes, say that you paid by bank guaranteed cheque

I got a call as well from a warrant officer claiming to be from
A certain police station in Pretoria. Number is 0739294388, same story about paying with fake notes, and now a rape case is opened, I am very sure it's the WG that gave my details, he knew what denomination of notes I paid with and how much, also knew what car I drive. All I can say is becarful of the ladies working in Arcadia/Hatfield areas.
