Anyone recently been victim to the latest scam where someone from SAPS Organised Crime phones you and states that a escort has made a Rape and Fraud charge against you? Apparently paying with counterfeit money? They are phoning to warn you and want to apparently safe you from the embarrassment from being arrested.

Anyone else experienced this?

Ask for a their persal number, the case number and the unit they are calling from. They will only be able to give you all three if they are legit.

I would have asked him how she is going to prove I paid with counterfeit money for a service that is illegal in this country ?

I would ask him if he though I was born last night and that would be the last thing I ask before telling him to F.OFF

Oh I forgot , I would also tell him that the phone call was recorded and that I was going to report him for impersonating a police officer , a very serious offense in any country

I got a similar call 4rm Capt Lamola that I paid R500 with fake notes, now he want R3000 to make the case go away otherwise a case of rape will be opened against me. I recorded the call

capt lamola is busy, where did he get your number? must be from the lady you visited, so if this is a scam, she is in on it. Maybe you should name her to warn other punters.
I got a similar call, did not let him finish, just ended the call after he accused me of stealing the girls money. He did mention a date, so I have a good idea who the girl might be...

Post the numbers that they call from please so we can block them
