So much for lockdown and social distancing when 17 million people can travel and get together each month to get their social grants. This exemption to the lockdown basically substantially negates what government is trying to achieve!

They don't get together in one place.
They are dispersed all over the country at different pay points.

Still shoved into taxis by the hundreds. Perfect breeding ground for corona.

Here is the thing..very few need collect money from paypoints.

Social grands/pensions are paid into accounts mostly

Government has been changing ways of grants being paid for awhile now.

Then issue is that all these people live from grant to grant and as soon as it hits accounts everyone of to banks/atms shop almost all at the same time. Full taxis. Long lines. Busy shops.

If government was clever they would pay grants tomorrow and thursday.. get everyone out and back inside before lock down.
