This year.. This decade..

I have cried and laughed.
I have fallen and gotten up.
I been up just to slope down.
I have had bad news and good news.
I lost friends and gained friends.
I have lost love ones and found new ones.
I have been sick and I have been healthy.
I have been thin and I have been fat.
I have had lows and I have had highs.
I had no money and I had enough money.
I met bad people and good people.
I have been touched by bad things but blessed by good things.
Looking back on it I still would not change a thing.
Everything good or bad has had an impact on my life. On how I live my life. On how see people. On who I am.
Standing looking in the mirror I can see the traces of all these things reflected in the lines on my face, in the light in my eyes,in the grey in my hair.
Yes I am a year, a decade older. But for some reason although I can see the evidence in the mirror.
I do not feel older. I do not feel tired. I do not feel drained.
I am young not in body but in soul.
I am happy and privileged that I am still here to see the start of new year and a new decade.
I want to wish every single one of you a bashing 2020.!
May all your hopes, dreams and aspirations become your reality.

If I could go back I would change so much. I can absolutely say to the day the event in 2017 that has caused me so much demise in my life. Oh if only I could go back. I don't want this life in 2020

Yes Louise... BUT... you were only you... no matter what you went through... you never lost sight of who you are... I totally understand... you are a strong woman... you did so well... you stayed humble... you are amazing... you care more about the needs of others than your own needs... hats off to you...

Be the best you can be. Everything will sort itself out.
Being without things ain't always a bad thing. It makes us appreciate what we have.
I have read your other posts and I know it can be traumatising going through ruff times.
Life is a scale and for everything that tilts it one way there will be something to tilt it the other way. Try to find a balance in life. Eventually your scale will be balanced.
I am wishing you a blessed and prosperous 2020.
