The problem of gambling is the chase. I have a friend who told me that when he goes to a casino. He is prepared to lose the money. But he takes only what he can afford to lose and take a risk with. If he loses it. And he doesn't take his bank card either.

You can't tell a gambler to stop gambling. It's quite addictive. And they tend to want to win their losses back to recover. Which ends up in more loss. It's all about self discipline and resisting the urge.

Add "too*( English) or "te"(Afrikaans) to anything and it is a problem!

Too much is never a good thing.

Only thing that can never be too much is respect and love.

You need to add more of that to your life..

You might say she is negative but while I was depressed she pm me and gave me a lot of advice. She genuinely cared. She also cares about this oke who started this thread. She has her issues with Tegwane. but thats between these two.

If anything you were the one negative on this thread. Saying "I have zero pity for him", how you envied the amount of money he lost, how other girls cant afford bread. Girls on this site afford bread because okes like him pay them. No punter on this site is poor. They might say they are.

Man this is the best reply on here so far, I appreciate you taking the time to post; I think this needs to just be a watershed moment for me, Ive even been considering rehab to begin the year. I also think its important for me to remember that I will recover if I just apply myself and completely stop these self destructive behaviours. I understand that some people here may never even have that amount and Im sorry for 'rubbing it in' if thats what you think im doing but im truly not. I just feel utterly broken after whats happened and its hard to have real perspective right now
