Language barrier.

I don't know if it is only me but sometimes I find that the language barrier gets in the way when you are trying to negotiate services with Thai/Asian SP's. Can anyone give me advice on how to combat this ? There have been times I think that the girl is having me on and for reasons only known to her pretends like she can't speak english.

Always bear in mind that you are not talking to the lady in the picture ,so services promised are by a 3rd party so disappointment has a high probability. Best option is to go to a venue and get intros by them individually and then ask about your requirements .

There is also almost always a driver/security around anyway... if you are on the phone, ask for him to explain... that also works out well.

ja i know,,, called one in gezina, she kept saying 'yes gezina, call when u here,' i said which street, she kept saying 'come gezina, call when u gezina'... i gave up.
maybe we can also try solving the problem by learning their lingo.. at least i managed with portuguese
