This morning i experienced a very good example of pro vs wont make it.

I received a wa from a Lady that I see from time to time.
Text translated is to the effect of" i saw this new profile and thought of you" together with a screenshot of the advert. The photos are indeed of the kind I like and the lady is blessed with good looks. So I asked the lady that recommended her to me if she knew the Newby and thus feel she is worthy of a visit and the answer came back that she only saw the add and thought of me.

So I pm"d the new lady with about 5 lines of what I thought was a kind enquiry.
To her credit, within a fairly short time, I saw I had a reply.

"Please contact the venue" and a tel no.

Wtf! Not even some general verbage like "tnx for your inquiry..."?

So once again the difference so clearly!! Liza (not surprising) put my needs first by blindly recommending a new person to me based on her knowledge of me. It could be argued that she was hurting her own business by pointing me to another, but what I see is an established pro giving a leg-up opportunity to a new lady. Live and let live like she always says. Only difference- here she proved it.

How does the new one utilize the opportunity? With arrogance and indifference.

I have played with the idea of naming her and her venue, but I'll try to be equally magnanimous by giving the Newby a chance to reconsider the value of a friendly enquiry and in future treat the rest of you better.
I reason that it's not as if I put fellow punters at risk by not naming her, as should she stick to her approach, you will spot her from a mile anyway.

But let's celebrate the positive and give a shout out to Liza for once again setting the standard

Jip. You would be surprised at how many PM replies you get "please phone for more info". WTF!
I know how to phone. If this was my preference, i would have done so. Some of us are 99% of the time in a situation where you CANNOT phone. Once i get the info and want to book, i WILL phone.

I have not even started yet on PMs being read. But no urge whatsoever to reply....

And then we hear business is slow.

Surely SPs can respond with a cut and paste job. Cannot take more than 5s. Hardly any cost, but the 5s of your time.

Had a couple of those, I moved on swiftly ;)

Some Venues stop the ladies from having any direct interaction with punters via pm's, and or WA.

This might be a similar case to that. Lady might have thought not worthy of loosing her job to respond in full to the WA.

If that is the case, then surely the ad should list the venue's number not the ladies?

It may even be that the venue manages and therefore also reply on the ladies' behalf.
Hence my op stating lady and venue.
If this is the case then the sp s where the venue acts as their agent need to ask themselves if said venue serves their interests. I'm not saying venue responses will always be bad, but I am 100% convinced that a less abrupt message may have enticed me to phone. Now I am cautious of that lady and her venue.
If being polite would have got her fired, I strongly suggest she moves her pretty behind to a venue that is professional. There are great venues, ladies need not be bullied

Ahhh, thank you so much for the compliments. I really just thought I put some new ladies on the map, as her pics are really stunning and I know you love the type of poses. Sorry to hear you got such a cold response.
I'm going to phone her myself and try to get a understanding of how she/they work. Just to see if I can assist before the damage become to big for her. She is a new listing lady, looking at her age makes me believe she just step into the industry. For what it's worth I'm still going to try.
