Hey everyone , so I recently contacted a specialist on this site for a video call. I then paid them sent them a screenshot + the proof of payment and did an actual screen recording of my banking app to show them the transaction.

They then said due to them not receiving it I must have edited it some way and they then blocked me on everything ( WhatsApp, SMS, Calls)

Didn't want to leave a negative review as I'm worried they try any blackmail or anything like that.

Just wanting advice, do I just leave it as is and don't bother and just take it as a sign to never do this again. Or is there anything I can do.

Sorry to hear about that. But if you are not going to leave a review then it's time to name and shame them.

Lesson learnt hopefully.

Don't pay any money upfront for anything. Money in person for service at time of service.

Paying anything in advance for anything but actually physical service will most likely have exactly what happened to you, happen to you.

All you can do now is as James said, name and shame.

Simple. Don't make video calls. Go see a wg in person.

Pay cash always, its a dirty industry. There was a scammer before that would ask for ewallet instead of cash and then claim she never got it and demand cash as well.

You can deposit cash to a bank account at an ATM.

Problem is spending R200 or even R500 for content gives one a chance to see the goods without the money and effort of risking a punt. I have only done this once before: goods looked great, the punt afterwards was terrible.

Now I only see girls with solid reviews over an extended period of time.

If she advertise's here on ESA, name and shame once.
