Legends like Boobs53, Greyknight and so on giving actual good advice and really decent referals..... ( there are more legends whose names, unfortunately, i cannot remember now.)

Gone are the days, you say? The legends? The lore? My brother in punting...every generation thinks their forum was Woodstock.

You speak of "chops" being exchanged like it was some ancient martial art passed down from the High Council of SP's. But let's be honest - half of those "good old days" were just recycled tips, dramatic exits and someone typing "RIP forum" every third Thursday.

The forum isn't dead. It just changed its haircut.

New punters. New vibes. New chaos.

You can't expect 2026 energy to behave like 2014 nostalgia. The legends you mention? They weren't born legends. They were once "that annoying new guy" too. Now it's a new batch stepping up. Different banter. Less "old school back and forth," more "who brought this wild energy and why do I Low-Key love it?"

Forums evolve. That's the fun part. If it stayed the same, we'd be arguing about the same 3 threads, quoting the same 5 jokes and pretending the referrals were written on stone tablets.

So respectfully, dear Milo - the forum isn't less fun.

You're just missing your era.

But here's the twist:
Instead of writing the eulogy...why not start the madness? Drop a proper "chop." Stir a classic debate. Become the legend the new punters will misquote in five years.

The current forum users have no dignity and also no respect for others! So the 'new haircut' you are referring too is a shitty one!

Punters and sp's do evolve...... treating people with respect and dignity doesn't!

The TRUE LEGENDS, never went about like a bunch of imbeciles! they were always gracious and respectful from the day they joined..... hence the legendary status.

I prefer the 'old days' thank you very much!

I enjoy the forum, but in order to do so, I skip past many topics as soon as I see the usual suspects have entered the fray and have derailed the thread.

Lmao, ive been using this forum for over 20 years and there have been worse times, remember johan and the wg whose name starts with V? Flux is natural, you cant always have peace as that would mean people are always in agreement. Then occasionally there are self appointed prefects and thought police who need to be excised from the forum from time to time. As for legends?..legends on a sex site? Okay...who decides who those legends are? Its the same on every forum, there is always some clown that feels inadequate and reminisces about the golden age of that forum when everything was perfect and there were legends, unicorns, peace and all sorts of fantastical things.

Everything happens out of necessity.

I hear all of you and to this I say.....I fucking love me a good derailing. It takes us to a spontaneous destination whereby we get to let down our hair, air our frustrations and tune everyone a little bit of kak. Fokken poes lekker. We must never forget that we are all different and let me be the first to say, let's derail this thread like a mother fucker and call each other poeste. Or something.

20 Years later, 'now' will become the good old days.

Every few years, things change, moods, behavior, communication and means and way of communicating and even the usage of wrods. What was rude earlier is now a compliment. Like it used to be intense first. Coffee was intense, some girls boobs were intense, theatre performance was intense. Then it became awesome.

Insane was described a mad till few years back. now coffee at that cafe is insane, the DJ was playing insane tracks, the mountain hike was insane.

The effect is the same, conveying your innermost feelings by the strongest word in the common vocabulary of the times, that everybody can relate to.

Maybe, the times have changed more than people and rapidly so. Fortunately or not, everybody needs to adapt to some extent, whether we like it not.

Change is the only constant, inside and outside.
