If you know a SP is addicted to drugs or alcohol would you still use there services?

Just a ethical dilemma I have faced a few times.

No, what she does with her money is her business. Try not to judge her lifestyle choices, and just treat her like a person and not a drug addict. It's not a choice, it's a mental illness. Nobody wants to be a slave to drugs.
Can you overcome it with dedication? Yes. Do you choose to be an addict in the first place? No

Unethical?

Meaning not morally correct?

Compared to what morals?
You the punter that book escorts?

Just the same as she is not judging you for booking sex workers, i would imagine you not judge her for using drugs to be able to live with herself after said booking.

I for one don't condone it, but who am I to judge what she has lived through and what she chooses to do with her money.

If it bothers you that much then don't continue booking her. But don't shame her because she sins differently than you.

Alcohol: Yes, if it does not interfere with her service.

Drugs: Unfortunately no, because of the associates she might have. Addicts are more likey to offer bareback, therefore represent a bigger health risk.

Only reason I wouldn't book is if she couldn't properly provide her services.

Apart from that, she has a life to live her own problems to bear etc, at least by visiting her you take away one of her problems.

You might not know it, but you buy goods and services from people who take drugs or are alcoholics....it won't stop you from paying for those things.

I don't see it as shaming rather caring.

I shame myself by enabling it, in one way or another.

I have seen many a person fall to addiction in my life and I have grieved their deaths.

Thank you Saffron you have given a good answer my question.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to punting.

I also haven't lost someone I know from the direct actions of punting.

I understand the hypocrisy from my question.

I beg to differ.
In all my life I treat SPs as I would treat my GP, mechanic.
There is no hypocrisy in feeling concerned about a sex worker (they are a human being) If that was not so, should punters treat SPs like trash because they are paying - NO.

WGs/MGs provide a discrete specialised professional service. Why do we stay with a GP for long? Because he/she understands our issues, can be concerned even outside their rooms as such provide good service over time.

Failing to intervene and you will lose your favourite SP to an OD and then what? Move on to another SP like nothing happened? I applause SPs leaving the "rough life" to go work in corporate/start a whole different line of business. I take pride in myself in having enabled someone to reach for their dreams (my money partly paid towards their degree etc). No shame.

Help this SP out the best way you can. They may be wishing they find someone to pull them out - Chester Bennington cried for years!

If you had a good machanic or good docter and he went of to the casino or to a SP or to buy drugs or alcohol with the payment you made for the services he/she provided would you stop using their services?

Would you buying or not buying something from them, make a differnce to them and their habit .. no it would not.

If it aint the money you paid for that service it it will be someone elses money.

As for caring about them and their health, if you really are concerned and want to help them beat the habit. You must be prepared to go all in and be there for the long run as a friend and supporter and maybe even help pay for rehab.

Until you ready to do that, either steer clear of them all toghether so as not to get caught up in it if the habit gets the better of them or keep supporting them like you have been doing by making use of service but keeping your opinions and concerns to yourself.

Dealing with people with habits is emotionally draining especially if you become a finacial or emotional crutch.

I have been through this with an alcholic mother and brother and your caring will be seen as meddling, no matter how real your love and care and concern for them and their health is. Only the day they themselves asks you to help will it not be seem as meddling. And then only will they appreciate that you do care.
