The suicide bombers think they will get 72 virgins with perpetual virginity in heaven aka paradise if they die as martyrs, actually they consider being martyrs the highest honour. Also the narrative they all believe is that the west is the enemy and they are at a constant state of war with the west, sometimes they conflate the west with Christianity and consider themselves at war with Christianity (probably cultural remnants of the crusades and reinforcement of these narratives by the religious authorities) despite the fact that the west is secular and has long separated religion and state (a concept foreign in their religion).
At the same time I understand the anger towards USA because USA are world bullies who are constantly interfering in the affairs of other sovereign nations in order to maintain their unipolar super power status and prevent any other nation from getting super power status.
