My Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to keep this EXTREMELY RELEVANT thread going.

The reason is threefold. The primary reason for me posting anything on this Purple Platform is BRANDSTANDING (unlike some whose only reason seems to be grandstanding).

Secondly, my contributions aren't thoughtless posts for the sake of posting, I endeavour to inform/educate.

Thirdly, my posts are entertaining, and I know (from positive feedback) that they bring a smile to many a face.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you'll know just how disappointing the appalling little billionaire JK ROWLING has turned out to be.

She has, for unfathomable reasons, decided that trans folk (transwomen really) are to be stripped of their basic human rights and dignity. In so doing, making life even more difficult for an already marginalised group.

We (transwomen) are quite possibly THE MOST DISCRIMINATED AGAINST MINORITY IN THE WORLD! But, let's not play "oppression Olympics".

As an extremely wise teacher (Sadhguru) maintains, if you are an ant, you can walk on someone without the danger of hurting/harming/impacting them, but when you are an elephant, you must take care to tread carefully. A wise and very apt comparison. The opinions and negative remarks of random people (like the purple prats around here) are not of much consequence, and like an ant, they can be flicked away. But, an elephant, that can have a devastating effect.

When someone has achieved such success, amassed such a fortune, and in so doing, gained a platform enabling worldwide influence and clout, why not use it to uplift Humanity? Instead, she uses it for targeting and scapegoating a (tiny) harmless minority, who are just trying to get on with their already challenging lives. MINDBOGGLING.

The intersexed community, despite being 1.7% of the world population, is largely invisible. 1.7% compared to the transgendered population who are only 0.1% - 0.6% of the entire population. That means that 17 in 1000 newborns are born intersexed to some degree.

I have only ever met 2 intersexed individuals (as far as I know). They seem to present as either a "regular male" or as a "regular female". I have come to realise that they experience crippling shame, due to the fact that they are told to keep any invasive surgeries (still routinely performed on children unable to consent) to themselves.

Sometimes they are only told about their condition when they enter adolescence, sometimes even later, and sometimes not at all.

It seems convoluted that trans individuals fight for the right to adjust their bodies surgically (although not always surgically) to align with their gender, whereas intersexed activists fight for NOT performing surgeries like this on unconsenting children.

I wonder what those people who are always on about "you can't change your chromosomes" will make of the different chromosomal variations expressed in intersexed individuals? There are some hyper feminine intersexed individuals whose chromosomes are XY (see video of Beautiful BLUME below).

Some intersexed, feminine expressing individuals are only diagnosed as such when they don't begin menstruation once they reach adolescence.

So much for only XY and XX.
