Is it a common occurrence, or is it my bad luck, whenever I contact a Thai ladyboy they are rude. Or is it the language barrier so they just come across as curt? @lanavol more times than not I also find them very rude on the phone but much less so in person. A few are extremely curt and businesslike with the warmth of an iceberg even in the flesh but I have been pleasantly surprised as well. I think the language barrier and general cultural differences are the culprits here. I also get the distinct impression that many of them - even though we are paying them - hold us punters in contempt, and they are not good at hiding that in their tone, especially on the phone.
