How telling the selfishness of humans lending itself to the further degradation of humanity, humaneness and humanness.
The sickness of hypocrisy and "me, myself and i"...the minute ones own sorry ass is on the line a sure bet, with great fervour to preserve, fight and challenge anything and everything...even ones own closest and dearest.

A marvel it is at the surety of believing every word written, every word said, the claim that it is 100% gospel and nothing else goes fighting tooth and nail, abrasive and LOUD, opinionated and DEMANDING....!!!!!

....yet...

when it comes to matters that have led us to this present doorstep, meekly and mildly, take a step back, and natter something inaudible that there is no proof nor stats that their actions and those before them and those to come , have anything to do with the life threatening situations all humans find themselves in ....for sure as the breath one takes...this fine earth has been raped and looted, with our blessing and, the natural checks and balances are gone.

How sad when energies and opinions and actions are required to promote the fight against carbon emissions , poverty and overpopulation, an application for long term sustainable programmes, education...creating a base for humanity sounder , healthier, stronger to face any further adversities and threats for future generations....THAT fervour and zest is a shade pale and muffled.

Is it too abstract? Not considered a direct threat to self and lineage? Too demanding and takes up too much of ones time and energy to research and understand? Asks for one to reach into ones pocket not directly for self BUT, for others to benefit? Asks for different choices to be made that affect ones creature comforts and drive for materialistic ownership?...not understood, beyond grasp and intellect of most...?

Money does make the world go round and drives opinions and choices. What would the global economy be if there were no wars, no sicknesses.

There would be no mighty rich and tragic poor if humans didn't know to be selfishly self-centred, their personal preservation coming before others, and guiltily defending their choices feeling self righteous that they are doing something right to look after others.

And....those sitting in the most powerful seats puppeteering all and sundry understand the psychology of fear banking on the divide, creating further segregation among all....faster go the production lines, deeper become the pockets.

How smug we feel in our stupidity and laziness and excuses claiming to be well informed and of higher understanding, at each others throats at the drop of a pin , the most powerful keeping us exactly where they want us to be...scrambling and lining up to pay for the next new, next life saver, next faster, next ..."control gadget".

One has to wonder how many people have even considered or cared to calculate their own carbon footprint...or is that just a "waste" of time?...and not a responsible and educated choice?

Should we not simply fuck off.

bright above me...an orb that gives life
at my feet the ocean...ebbing in and out , in the flow no strife
a balance achieved, we humans have no respect for
of all that is a marvel, given to us for free, the very core.
custodian caring and wanting to nurture
in all we do a care for the future?
i vomit at the hypocrisy deceit and lies
our greed and selfishness anything good defies.
what will be left for the younglings to come?
will we feel remorse for the annihilation of our non-care the sum?
how rubbish we know to be as a race
the meaning of humanity, successfully we debase.
do we know to cry at the damage a legacy disgusting?!?!
our very existence a guaranteed combusting
what a stupid question...how i wish i was wrong
i cry for i know we humans on earth should fuck off for, we do not belong.
lustful and egotistical in all we look at and touch
never enough always wanting tooooo much
dear Universe above me let it not be too late
please help and teach us to be less self-centred and change this planets fate.

Larry Ellison making a bid for Tik Tok

The capturing of Tik Tok?

The same as the interpretation of International law?

Money talks .

Capitalism Trumps the farce of democracy, as has for years and years...even under the guise of wokefulness with the blessing of Democrats.

But now more blatant than ever before

The capture of NATO.

Peace being militarised.

The puppeteeeing of a President under the illusion he is worthy of a Nobel Peace prize.

Seems Larry Ellison has a lot to say about what peace looks like.

The flotilla has been intercepted except for one vessel.

*********

And here is another that has me following since 2024...

Interesting developments in Mexico, making one sit up and take note...

Claudia Sheinbaum of the left-wing National Regeneration Movement (Morena) is the current first female president of Mexico elected in 2024.

Quoting -

"Let it be clear, it doesn't mean an iron fist, wars or authoritarianism," Sheinbaum said of her approach to tackling criminal gangs, during her final campaign event. "We will promote a strategy of addressing the causes and continue moving toward zero impunity."

"For me, being from the left has to do with that, with guaranteeing the minimum rights to all residents," Sheinbaum told the AP last year.

A year down the line and changes definitely noticeable.

Let's see how left she might have to go and which "leftist" ideology shall prevail.

What is the ideology in SA ?

Which ideology prevails in South Africa and is elected and defended?

On THIS thread and NoT on the advertisers review page.

She does NOT deserve your sense of humor or style of engagement on this forum when it comes to me or anybody else....including YamamotoKirasha's tendencies to talk shit and stir kak.

I wonder

Are journalists targeted and killed so that there shall be no testimonials in court?...and not putting it down to prolonged armed conflict.

Listening to the various news channels and a political analyst saying "serious sustainable peace".

What does serious sustainable peace look like?

Listening to Marwan Bishara it does make one wonder....what next.

Is it like saying some one is pretty?
Subjective?

International law.
The Hague
Quoting:

Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger have announced they will immediately withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), labelling it an "instrument of neo-colonialist repression".

Is the ICC an instrument of neo-colonialist repression or a body of warmongering capitalists set on destabilising and segregating global regions creating refugees , forcing them on neighbouring countries placing pressure on those countries socio- economic structures bringing on crimes not usual to those countries and resentment toward others where there was none before.

With respect to the word aggressive.

Quoted

"...The word aggressive describes someone or something that is hostile, combative, and ready to fight or confront, or it can describe a bold, energetic, and determined approach to achieving goals..."

Dearest Sircumsized

I am quite intrigued that your go to on another thread, was labeling me as aggressive and opting out when I questioned your statement that Lithuania is part of NATO an EU.

Considering the death of innocents in the name of peace funded by the EU and NATO , buying arms from the US....did I get it wrong?

Today I have done well

A bigot.
An aggressor.

....and a nit picker too, it seems.

It makes me smile with amusement
