Hi guys, just thought I'd shed some light on the "dark side". Here we go!

This niche is highly-controversial and very much a "grey area". As with all else, it is open to personal interpretation.

The word "shemale" was coined by the porn industry as a play on the word "female". The term refers to a M2F (male-to-female) transsexual (pre-operative) i.e. prior to gender re-assignment surgery.

The fantasy (much, much (MUCH) more widespread than most would like to believe) is to encounter a very feminine, attractive chick - then discover a trick (not up her sleeve...)

TG's (trans-girls) who embrace their gender (Thais use the term "third sex") tend to have a highly sexually charged aura, further enhanced by concentrated Oestrogens (female hormones) which are taken to feminize the face and body. Oestrogens attract (strongly) on a subconscious level, as they are not detected by the human nose.

Men are highly susceptible to visual stimuli and most transsexuals, being mildly narcissistic, make a huge effort to "adorn their temples" (your body is a temple) in anticipation of mutual, sensual worship.

Men don't discuss this fantasy with their buddies - for obvious reasons. They don't feel comfortable discussing it with women either, so the only (really) reliable source of these "kinky statistics" are transsexuals themselves.

This side of things can be best summed up with a line from one of my favourite movies - THE MATRIX.

There is another thread going around why would a straight guy go to a shemale. This is my take, and below I will paste nonvanilla's take on the subject as well, so we can keep the discussion in one thread rather than dilute it all over the place, hope nonvanilla does not mind, there is no reason really:

My take:


1. You are sort of bisexual, but can not bear being with a machoman (hair, moustache, farting, snoring, burping and belching, etc etc);

If a man however just loves and is attracted to their feminity and female attributes, sees them as women and couldn't be bothered by them having a penis, then he is still straight. Most shemale admirers and lovers aren't attracted to masculinity.

It is rather ironic that men who admire/have been with shemales are considered gay when gay men themselves are not attracted to shemales.

Anyway, enough about labels, why must we be so obsessed with them? If we must label men who visit shemales, I think open-minded should be the label that applies.

Onto the question why men visit shemales. The reasons vary greatly and here are some of those given to me by male shemale admirers and lovers over the years:
- They see them as women, are attracted to their femininity and feminine attributes that they can overlook/aren't bothered by the fact that they have a penis. These men prefer the very feminine looking ones.
- They are attracted to their femininity and feminine attributes as well as their male attributes particularly their penises. They are turned on by the fact that she's as hot as a woman and can fuck like/has the sex drive of a man.
- Sheer curiosity, many men have admitted to going through a curious phase and visit them to see if their curiosity is satisfied or not. They may realise that this isn't for them and not go back but at least they ticked it off their 'I'll try anything once' list.
- They are a fetish for some. It is rather difficult to explain the eroticism that lays in a seeing a woman with a beautiful face, breasts and then an erect penis and balls if it doesn't appeal to you. It is an 'unnatural' combination that never fails to thrill. These kind of shemale lovers, myself included, are extremely particular about the shemales they are attracted to. This means they aren't attracted to passive or gelded shemales. Some may however have a fetish for passive or gelded shemales.
- They are attracted to or may even have a fetish for the feminisation process.
- Erotic humiliation. They get off the ridicule that a shemale, a woman, has a bigger penis than theirs. This to them is more degrading and an even greater turn on to them than if a woman was simply ridiculing them for having a small penis.
- They enjoy anal sex and normal women can sometimes be a bit uptight about giving and/or receiving it.

If most forum members were more open-minded, I'm sure the other shemale admirers and lovers would be open to sharing their reasons. You don't have to agree with them for your personal reasons however, just as you would expect your sexual preferences to be respected, so do they deserve the same. Different strokes and pokes for different folks.

havata .. thank you for a most informative post as i always had wondered why is that a lot of straight men would meet with shemales for a sexual encounter. i for one never went as im happy with what i get from the females but at the same time i do not condone anyone taking that route. to me its the guy decission whom he visits and its rather probably a personnal decission. regards

I have to admit I was at first purely attracted to them for their physical attributes but when I met my new friend and spent more time with her, I couldn't help but find an even greater appreciation for my and others' femininity.
