Lots of men followed the ladies from one pub to the other sometimes even walking as pubs where in same road sometimes... following the snail trail as some called it..(i know not a nice description but thats what men called it back then) later it change to "they doing the leeuloop from one pub to the other.

My dad and his then wife was loyal patrons of most of the pubs/bars/hotels that had this entertainment in friday afternoons. That was their treat every friday( sometimes with a group of friends sometimes not) they would start with a pub lunch and a beer at first bar then follow the ladies to the next and next, after they would head home start a fire and have a braai and a few more beers ;)

I knew that i would not have to bother going to look for then at home on a friday afternoon if i happened to have the time to pay them a visit.. i would have to go to one of the 4 venues on that route between 2 and 5 on a friday afternoon to find them;)
