It's amazing how the whole fucking peanut gallery is quick to jump on the bandwagon and act as judge, juror and executioner... and condemn Naledi (or indeed any working girl) before they know any of the facts, or have heard Naledi's side of the story! Blue appealed to everyone that Naledi has lost her phone and to please trust her... Naledi! Well that is a fact, Naledi has lost her phone and is very distressed by the situation...lost phone, lost comfydick contact number etc! Why would Naledi jeopardise her good name and reputation by 'stealing' comfy's money? Give her a chance to defend herself before you put her before the firing squad! @Chmok I second your challenge!!! If Naledi turns out to be a crook I will pay R1000 into that fund too!! But if Naledi does the honorable thing..and she will... @govends you better blerry pay!!!!

Over the last few days I have been experiencing conflicting emotions ranging from being disappointed, annoyed ( at the complete silence since the original posting on her thread on the 15/08) to genuine concern for her well being.

I was literally planning my week around this so its obviously a big disappointment. While I do realise that her life does not and should not revolve around us I think a little more effort in terms of informing us of her change of plans would have been appreciated and would have avoided this unfortunate situation.

Fair enough she lost her phone but surely there are other means of getting the message across (especially to comfydick) regardless of whether she was in SA or Swaziland - A phone call to the ESA offices perhaps and get them to relay the message across. Or a message via Blue BEFORE comfydicks posts. Or a quick visit to an internet cafe etc, etc...


Having said that I do sincerely believe that she is no scammer and there has to be a logical explaination to all of this. I will give her the benefit of the doubt till the facts come out.

@comfy sorry to hear about your dilemma..hope things work out for you? I'm sure Naledi has a reason for doing what she did? I do however, also feel the same as you. Rather play open cards with you from the beginning if the intention to go to KZN was never apparent? Lovies Chenin

Naledi does have this reputation for going MIA without giving much of information . IMHO the least she could have done here was to inform Blue that she on behalf of Naledi would like to inform comfydick about the unfortunate condition . I realise that its hard to concentrate on other stuff when you are in a crisis . But crisis also indicates how good your soft skills are . I am sure comfydick would have understood that she is in a spot of bother and would have accommodated this turn of events . Unfortunately when Naledi chose to react in such a way that she has shown herself in a very poor and unprofessional light .

Alternatively you should of booked the flights and sent her the confirmation of the booking

Ok this unfortunate situation should not have happened.If you read Naledi's original post on the 15/08 "umhlanga or morningside" you will see the last post by me was a brief referance of a no show and I said maybe I've been had but I also said that I hoped she was ok,I was hoping for some response but by 4pm yesterday I still had heard nothing so I decided take it a step further and its amazing the sudden response that I got.It was not my intention to bad mouth Naledi, in fact if you read my comments I blamed myself for being a arsehole but if there had been just a little bit of communication I would have been happy.The fact that I had to spill the beans to get a response says a lot for this forum.In conclusion I have no bad feelings towards Naledi and I will phone her later on.
