The guard already has all of your details. It doesn't hurt to make some light convo and offer a 'cooldrink' to help facilitate things. However, experienced SP's will sort the guards out themselves, those are real legends in the game.

I disagree, being friendly friendly with them is encouraging them to continue this nonsense. Lol I only offer coldrink to traffic cops. I have never offered any security coldrink to open the gate coz I make sure I only go with enough money to pay the lady. I'm there for her, not for him.

Imagine if the ladies brother or father or boyfriend goes to visit her and these security try this shit. Some may even lose customers because the punters may be too uncomfortable with her location.

This is one of the reasons I will always prefer houses/venues or guesthouses than complexes/townhouses/apartments. The security guards are nosy and you have to sign in some places you sign in with your drivers licence and they take down your car number plate so you can't even give fake details and they know what you there for. My main issue is that they talk to other neighbours in the complex or worse yet word gets out to the body corporate. There are instances where the neighbours take punter details and blast them on social media (this was before popi act). This doesn't mean I've never booked a wg who at an apartment punting is a risk at the end of the day.

The approach has worked for me. I suppose it doesn't suit everyone.

I can't imagine the stress of married men or a CEO of some company. Can't have fun in peace!

That's an occupational hazard when visiting estates unfortunately. It's for this reason that I remained friendly with the guards, they gladly spilled the beans if the unit was under the spotlight and would advise me to park in certain spots to avoid suspicion.

100% agree. It's an occupational hazard and part of the game

There was a time a booked a lady in Melrose arch, she stayed in a shared house in a gated community setup. Security asked where I'm going, I mention the house number. Once he realised, he asked who I'm going to see, and I said her ESA name, and he opened for me.

I initially booked for an hour but then decided to extend for another hour. This security came inside the house and knocked on her door, I was literally naked and was demanding she pay him for letting me in. Highly uncomfortable situation, I Never went there Again.

There's a new thing now where in some complexes, the code sent to the wg includes the punters actually details like name straight from the driver's license.

A few punters have reported wgs greeting them by their actual name when they open the door and upon investigation, found out it's from the entry SMS. For all I know, I've visited some too and they just never said they know my actual name.

Now with more scammers than ever, I'm getting weary of places that scan your license. Punting SIM doesn't matter when they can Google search your name and find all your socials and since they saw your face, easy to get the right person.

Not sure how we navigate this yet but for now, I think if they ask for driver's license, I'm gonna say I forgot it and leave. Especially since many wgs say there's no sign in and guards will just let you in but when you get there, they still ask for licence so can't just avoid booking where they check by asking upfront and expecting an honest answer.
