Complacency! We see it happen all the time.
Guys goes to girl. She's good or she's okay. So he decides to see her again thinking it will stay the same or maybe get better once they build up a rapport since first visits cna be awkward and some people take time to warm up and open up.
Meanwhile at the other side of the hill, Missy thinks this guy keeps coming back, he must think I'm awesome. Now I can do anything or even nothing, treat him like shit too and he'll keep coming back because he's in love with me or he can't get a better punt elsewhere.
