Plus if you only choose based on looks, you are going to be dissapointed, some of my best visits have been to ladies who some (not me) would not rate 5*

A generalisation is that some ladies think that if they have the look they can charge a fortune and get away with inferior service

Whereas their are ladies who know or think they don't have the look so put their effort into the service and that makes for an amazing time

I've noticed you almost always have a tantrum whenever you get a review that doesn't suggest you're perfect - first it was the kissing thing, now a punter gave you a 4 for face and you're triggered by it.

1. Your "looks" - I.e. your complete physical profile - are inextricably linked to your market value in this industry. The R5K girls are able to charge R5K primarily because they fit a certain demographic and looks profile (although other factors come in to play). Hint hint, there's a big reason your ad itself requires pictures. And you put in a lot of effort into those pictures - the simplest representation of your "looks" - because you do recognise that looks do matter and it's how you attract customers.

Now it's not mandatory to take/upload pictures of your face, but that's where this rating particularly becomes helpful. More on that below.

2. Get your ego out the way and try to understand why ESA has that optional rating in place. I interpret it as a way for punters to gauge how far off what they see in the pictures is from the real thing. Angles, hidden marks and scars, hidden visceral fat - a clever photoshoot can easily disguise undesirable traits. Similarly, there are many instances of "butter faces". Body pictures look amazing, but you get there and find the girl has missing teeth from smoking meth, or a phuza face - something we wouldn't see in the ad. These are just extreme examples of where face-ratings can be helpful. It's to relay some information to US, not YOU. You know what you look like, and unless you've uploaded face pics, WE have no clue. A rating is in theory supposed to give a hint as to how happy we'll be with what we see.

3. Most punters (including myself) are very generous with these ratings anyway. I reckon 95% of reviews rate both 5/5, which is nonsensical. I try to apply a relative rating based on the competition rather than based on the civilian world. I try to apply a bit more discernment, but even then I'd say my ratings are still generous. I even rated you a 5 for both - you didn't seem bothered by face+body ratings then. 4/5 is still very good by the way.

4. A lower than 5 face/body rating (which should be standard, technically), says nothing about service. Service and looks don't go hand-in-hand, so you shouldn't be triggered by this. There are different punters here - there are some who just want the hottest things, and they'll tolerate mediocre service for it (what ASASH calls "pretty privilege"), and there are others who aren't too bothered by face as long as the service is top-notch.

Body and face are optional and not compulsory for the reviewer to rating.

Although some may base their decision on looks, it is the attitude and skill that matters most.

Lets disregard that ratings in general are way too binary (ei in most cases its a 0/1 or 5). We should be seeing a lot more 3s.

I agree beauty would be in the eye of the beholder and that everyone is beautiful in their way... but if enough beholders feel its a one maybe the beauty is not in the face and body but elsewhere.

Agee with this 100%, especially point 3. The rating scale for me is a relative one and before I even reviewed one I made sure that I'd seen atleast double digits WGs. I've only given one person a 5/5 for face and very few 5/5 for body- with only 1 both a 5/5 for face and body. Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but we all know that spade isn't a shovel.

There is nothing more disappointing than having read 5/5 for face and body-showing up to a booking and then think wtf was that guy smoking in his review. <Too many simps xD>.

But also worse than that is where there is average service- especially at higher price points.
