And it is only going to get worse. The economy has not yet tanked, not by a long long shot. We are still in very easy days. By Feb next year people will really be feeling the crunch. And by July the squeeze will be almost unbearable. I punt for fun, punting is in my basket of entertainment. I have to cut that part out to a large extent now as it is only an indulgence which I can live without. I do occasionally see inly 1 wg. I can guarantee that a very large portion of punters are doing exactly the same. They are dropping punting as it is not a necessity. I have to admit, it was an easy decision for me as I too have noticed the drastic drop in value for money.

Hell, I had an instance once were no one was taking my calls because someone else with the same name as me was being a cunt with wgs so they all saw my Truecaller name and didn't answer until I made contact with one on the forum and she clarified and then I think she probably shared on the ladies forum because things went back to normal after that with wgs taking calls and bookings again but someone somewhere shared some wrong info and even regulars weren't taking calls from me for months. These things can happen.

Same here, I have cut down from 3 punts a week to 2 and soon 1 and I think I will settle at 2 punts a month. I could stop entirely but I will continue just to support some of my regulars.

And yes, you are correct, its only going to get worse particularly for South Africa because of all the structural issues...we might go down and stay down.
