Also what I wrote is on topic- kick said he's doing something, I questioned his motives, so it doesn't actually fit the definition of 'hi-jacking a thread'.

And as for 'earning his dues', people who have good intentions just give to charity. They don't then go post on a public forum something that amounts to "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT WHAT A GOOD PERSON I AM" unless they're really only interested in the publicity of it.
