I don't believe this topic has been posted yet on the forum. My question is,do you as a punter, married obviously, believe in an open marriage?

Especially when there is no intimacy etc?

Absolutely, even if there's intimacy. Done right it strengthens a relationship.

If there are problems in the marriage it isn't the solution. Work on the issues and then consider an open marriage. It works for couples who already have a strong marriage/relationship.
Every guy (more so than women) thinks hr can handle it.
I had a guy who was a swinger. And his take on it was it was all great till his partner was with a woman who really had a good time with her. He said he never felt as useless as when this woman took his partner to pleasurable heights like he never could.
