Allegedly, South Africa challenges Russia for the title of the World's Biggest Boozers.

Now we South Africans are a sociable bunch and we effen love our drinsicles - but biggest boozers in the world? I think not.

Just take a look at this list:

Top position goes to Romania. I would have thought that Romanians would prefer drinking blood to drinking alcohol, seeing as it is the home of Count Dracula and his vampires.

Anyhow, we can't let this ridiculous price hike take place, my fellow Homo Sapiens ...

I enjoy popsicles just as much as I enjoy drinksicles. I just don't understand why alcoholic beverages have to get such a bad rap.

They can be enjoyed responsibly. You can drink and Uber ... self-driving vehicles are already in operation around the world ... and we all stand in as "designated driver" when it's our turn.

Now I'm gonna get all spirit-ual. Jack got me through many a lonely Valentines Day. Jack Daniels, my favourite spirit. AND ... JC did turn water into wine, lest we forget. See? While it's not all good - it's also not all bad ;-)

One of my Favourite American Patrons brought me a bottle of this exquisite beverage. Yes, it has 17% more alcohol than Good Ol' JACK, but it goes down SO SMOOTH - we'll excuse it's KNOBby name :p
